Blizzcon

The Hallow's End competition came to a close on the 30th, and the winners were announced the next day. You can find their wonderful entries on the announcement blog post. While I didn't get loads of entries, I actually do consider the competition a success, and I will very likely do it again, perhaps around Christmas, for two or three Landro's Gift loot cards. Now, however, there is Blizzcon to look forward to, which is happening on the 8th and 9th. Hopefully there will be a reveal for the next expansion, too. On a personal note, I'm getting a little too giddy for Christmas. I'm seeing the decorations everywhere and I'm itching to put them

Yes, that's right, another competition. This one is simpler than last time, though. It's still a story-based competition, but one that requires no writing anyone's part if they don't want to. The idea is to create a story using screenshots from World of Warcraft. I like to think of it as like a children's picture book - the images are straight forward enough to not need any writing, but sometimes writing is added to ensure understanding, and incase it's a little more complicated than it first seems. For full details, see the original blog post. The competition runs from today, the 10th, to the 30th of October. That's 3 weeks from now. You

Well, the WoW writing contest has come to a close. I have given one individual an extension, but I've only received 2 entries. BUT, they're both good, and that's what counts, so while I don't consider it a huge success, neither do I consider it a failure. I will do it again in time   I have started my own challenge call the WoW Crafting Challenge. The aim is to create as many different things that are WoW-based or inspired in as many different creative mediums as I can, but the catch is that I'm not allowed to repeat any mediums. So I can't do 2 drawings, for example.   The Challenge can be applied to any other game, or movie/TV series
